چکیده

Background: Postoperative psychosis after cardiac surgery is associated with increased morbidity, length of hospital stay, and mortality. We aimed to assess the risk factors outcomes postoperative surgery. Methods: This research a retrospective observational case-control study that included 100 patients divided into two groups. Group 1 50 psychosis, 2 no psychosis. Data were collected from Cardiac Surgery Department database October 2020 April 2021.
 Results: The mean age was 67.94 ± 11.69 years in 68.98 10.19 control (P= 0.636). Males presented 66% (n= 33) versus 70% 35) group. Cardiopulmonary bypass (144.9 35.61 vs. 109.1 17.19 min, P˂0.001) ischemic times (61.96 15.93 50.52 9.62 significantly longer arterial pressure (MAP) (61.93± 13.44 80.78 5.91 mmHg, oxygen saturation (79.82 8.81 90.12 4.91%; lower Central venous 11.76± 2.33 3.58± 1.70 mmHg group (P˂0.001). ICU (4.82 ±2.14 1.62 0.55 days; P˂0.001), while there difference stay. By multivariable analysis, MAP an independent predictor (OR: 0.930 (95% CI: 0.737–0.999), P= 0.045).
Conclusion: Low could predict Proper blood decrease incidence

conclusions in our center, prolonged length of stay in the icu correlated positively with euro score. the overall predictive performance of euro score is acceptable and provides both surgeons and intensivists with a good estimate of patient risk in terms of icu stay. background risk stratification models allow preoperative assessment of individual patients cardiac surgical risk and enable analy...

Preoperative prediction of intensive care unit stay following cardiac surgery.

OBJECTIVE Following cardiac surgery, a great variety in intensive care unit (ICU) stay is observed, making it often difficult to adequately predict ICU stay preoperatively. Therefore, a study was conducted to investigate, which preoperative variables are independent risk factors for a prolonged ICU stay and whether a patient's risk of experiencing an extended ICU stay can be estimated from thes...

Vasopressin in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit

surgery is often complicated by profound hypotension (mean arterial pressure [MAP] ≤70 mm Hg). Often, shock after cardiotomy is associated with low cardiac output syndrome (also termed low-output heart failure). These patients are best treated with volume resuscitation, afterload reduction, and inotropic support. However, some patients remain hypotensive because of systemic vasodilation. Recent...
